Democracy Yet by James C. Richmond

DEMOCRACY YET!!

We must shout democracy now

We must shout democracy now

Do you care about people, people?

Got to know there is only one life

A man’s hope, on pins and needles

Sinking lower in muck and strive

Do you think we’re not in this too?

You must analyze; allow me to fight

A people’s pain cannot be misconstrued

A people in a dead night

We must shout democracy now

We must shout democracy now

We must change this cruel legacy

Coming from the recesses of our life

We must change our future, a new destiny!

Of politics and strive

Hear!! I tell know great story

Of lies, murder, deceit, neglect

The story of our life

A task to direct

We must shout democracy now

We must shout democracy now

Arising from the bones of our ancestors

Crying out from the bosom of death

Marching onward with renewed assurance

We might achieve democracy yet!

Man alone can stop this politics

MAN ALONE CAN STOP MY SWEAT

Man alone can stop both sick and suffering

Man alone must answer next

We must shout democracy now

We must shout democracy now
