Anthrax Scare

Anthrax Scare

Awakened from our sleep to watch upon a new reality

Across the land comes the anthrax scare

The media caught-up in its snare

New York Times, NBC’s Tom Brokaw’s office took the lion’s share

Postal workers wrapped-up with cautious fear

Our Congress and Senate too adhere

When innocent men and women died who inhaled

And resolve to defeat the terrorist

Yes resolve to defeat the terrorist

A man who live that man must die

Through natural disasters or acts of fate

See! This anthrax scare is deliberate

To frighten a Nation, to kill the spirit of America and frustrate

Only cowards hide to wage war, only fools can relate

The battle is joined to free the State

And cast the mad man upon the stake

We resolve to defeat the terrorist

Yes resolve to defeat the terrorist
